Workshop "Financial Stability Challenges"
The Gulf Monetary Council (GMCo) in cooperation with Central Bank of Bahrain held online workshop on “Financial Stability Challenges” during 06 October 2026. The workshop hosted more than 20 participants from representatives of central banks in GCC countries and international financial institutions together with the GCC institutions.
The main purpose of the workshop was to discuss the potential implications of recent geopolitics on GCC countries.
Participants took part in presentations are GMCo, Most GCC of Central Banks, World Bank Group, Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), and GCC Secretariate General represented by Economic and Development Affairs Commission.
This, GMCo is also keen to continue holding meetings and workshops to enhance technical cooperation between national central banks, coordinate monetary policies, and dedicate efforts towards financial stability in GCC countries.
